Middle School Programs
Robert Anderson Middle School
The Robert Anderson Middle School Band Program is one of our two feeder programs for Westside High School consisting of approximately 100 participants from grades 6th through 8th. They have consistently placed several students in both the Anderson All-County Honor Band and the SC Region 1 Honor Band for the past two years. The RAMS Band Program is under the direction of Mr. Phillip Ivester-Wood.
Southwood Academy of the Arts
The Southwood Academy of the Arts Band Program is the second of our two feeder programs for Westside High School consisting of approximately 60 participants from grades 6th through 8th. Southwood is an arts magnet school focused on the growth of students in multiple arts areas. They have consistently placed multiple students in the Anderson All-County Honor Band, the SC Region 1 Honor Band, and the All-State Honor Band as well as consistently scoring a Superior with Distinction at the Concert Performance Assessment (CPA). The Southwood Band Program is under the direction of Mr. Stacey Wade.
